Passion is a dating and hookup site that suits swingers, horny singles and rampant couples alike. Anyone over 18 can register for free, browse the site and make up a profile. To get the most from Passion, though, you have to upgrade, but prices are reasonable, and the amount of interaction you then have is unparalleled. The community area includes erotic stories, members can cast their own live cams and join chat rooms, and it has an amazing search engine that lets you find Miss or Mr Right right now. Get dirty-flirty, fall in love, simply find friends, or show yourself off on cam, it’s entirely up to you at Passion.

Passion holds millions of members' photos and videos and has a large number of registered users. There were over 40,000 members online during my visit.

Registration and Getting Started (what you first see)

When you first land on Passion, you’ll have to register to get any further. Registration is free, but there are a few steps to signing up.

Step one

Start your membership by answering two simple questions:

• Looking for a: Man/woman/couple/TS

Step two

The second page asks the same question. Click Next, and you come to step three.

Step three

It is important to fill out each box, otherwise, you may have to return to the beginning and start again.

• Birthdate.
• Country.

Step four

Enter your email address, make up a username and a password.

Step five

The questions in step five are optional. You can always add these details to your profile later.

• Sexual orientation.
• Body type.
• Race.
• Marital status.

Step six

You now have the chance to add some information, and the first box, your headline, is required. The rest, you can add once you have full access. By completing this final stage, you are agreeing to the site’s terms and conditions.

Click ‘Done’ and you will receive a verification email within one minute. Click the link you find in that email and you will be redirected to the members’ area of Passion. If you live in a European Union country, you will be asked to check the data consent form, a standard procedure, and with that done, you can continue.

How To set up your Profile at Passion

Now you are a free member of Passion, you can set up a profile. You’ll see the link in the lower menu bar, and there, you can also add a profile photo. If you prefer, you can browse the site before setting up your details, but the fuller profile you have, the more hits you’ll get, and your search results will be more accurate. All of this is optional. Here’s what you can add to your profile.

• Basic profile. Who you want to meet, something about yourself, your ideal person.
• Physical information. Covers age, height, body type etc.
• Personal information. Religion, marital status, how do you swing, etc., and languages (there are 13 to choose from and you can add others).
• Personality type. This is like a detailed survey, and you can gain an icon by filling it out.
• Add/manage photos. A simple upload page, drag and drop, or use your webcam.
• Manage videos. You can upload videos by file.
• Get verified. Upload a pic of you holding a sign with your username to get more likes and hits.
• Confirm ID. You can verify yourself to the site with an ID and gain 500 points. What these points are for is not explained.

Does Passion have many Members, Photos and Videos?

Yes. There were over 40,900 members online when I visited the site, and many more are registered. You can upload your own photos and videos and see other members’ content. However, you can only see thumbnails until you become a paying member.

‘Bling’ is the word Passion gives to icons and small banners that you can add to your profile. There’s a tool to help you make these, and they say that if you have one, you’re more likely to attract more hits and visits. The Sex Academy is 100% free to gold members. However, there’s nothing on the page or in the help area to answer the question, ‘What is the sex academy?’

How Easy is it to Search Passion?

It’s very easy to search Passion because it has a powerful search engine and a detailed search page. The link is in the main menu with a drop-down list of search options including who’s online, who’s on instant message, VIP members and who is hot. Here are some details.

Working across the top menu at Passion, you find your main areas of exploration. Many of these have drop-down menus beneath them to give you more details, and it’s worth taking time to check all of them.

• My Stuff: This contains your account links, your favourites and interactions, you can see who’s flirted with you and vice versa.
• Search. Yes, you find the detailed search functions from here.
• Live Action: Live member webcams, live model webcams, top broadcasters, and adult chat rooms hosted at Passion.

• What’s hot: Hottest photos, videos, albums etc. Again, you can only see thumbnails unless you are a paying member.

What Nifty Extra Features does Passion Provide?

Passion has loads of nifty features that help you get to know your fellow flirters, and let you find exactly the match you are looking for. There’s much to explore here, from chat rooms to instant messaging, and from photo browsing to writing your own blog. One of the more unusual features are the erotic stories where any member can create a short story, upload it and share it around. The Community area also gets you involved with polls and contests, and Passion has its own community area with even more fun features. All this is open to free members.
